Todd tried to make it seem like Anna had never been close to achieving her goal of joining the ADF, but he was really just betraying her in his closing arguments.
Todd totally betrayed Anna. He acted like he was her friend, but then he went behind her back and did something that really hurt her. It’s a real bummer, ‘cause she trusted him and thought they were tight. She’s so disappointed - it’s like a punch in the gut!
